Ramona Cruise Nights has become an incredible community and family event that is sure to bring memories for years to come. Every Thursday evening some of the most remarkable vehicles cruise up and down Main Street in Ramona showcasing the tremendous vehicles from yesterday and today.
Residents of Ramona and beyond line up along main street with their families watching these brilliant vehicles while hanging out with friends and making new acquaintances. Many of the shops in Ramona stay open late and host their own Ramona Cruise Night events.
While cruising up and down Main Street the vehicles and drivers will honk their horns to the crowd and wave to the fans who are always happy to wave back. Many pictures are taken and posted up on Facebook, especially in the Facebook group created for the cruise by Elizabeth Chavez called Ramona American Graffiti Cruise.
Ramona Town Radio has teamed up with Ramona Chamber of Commerce to broadcast the event LIVE every Thursday evening starting at 6 p.m. PST. RTR will be playing some of your favorite music to take you back to a time when life was a bit simpler. Ramona Chamber of Commerce will be selling snacks and drinks as well. Right next door at Resurrected Rustic, they usually have shaved ice and food as well.
How did this whole Ramona event start? Find out by listening to the interview Eric Vellone and Shane Monaghan did with Jerry Keller. Jerry is the reason Ramona Cruise Nights has come to Ramona for the entire community to enjoy. CLICK HERE to listen to the interview.
