I’m not a fan of “al fresco” dining, but the new patio at D’Carlos Restaurant is stunning! It is completely covered over the top and surrounded on the sides by lush, green foliage. You don’t have to contend with sun, wind, etc. Really the perfect, relaxing environment. They now have live music on the patio every Wednesday night at 7pm so I went to check it out. Such an enjoyable evening! Jon Hasz on guitar was outstanding. Definitely not “background” music. Jon is a talented artist; very engaging and entertaining without taking away from your dining experience.
One of the best parts was “Wine Wednesday”. Every Wednesday, wines are half-off bottles and glasses. A tremendous value! Turtle Rock Ridge Vineyard Winery was there with some of their excellent wines. The nice folks from TRR really added to the overall hospitable feel. I definitely recommend checking out the new live music on the patio at D’Carlos. I believe they’re doing it again some Thursdays and Saturdays. Fantastic way to spend a warm Ramona evening! The patio is completely non-smoking so it’s great for families.
