Written by RamonaTownRadio on February 5, 2018
On Saturday February 3rd, our friends from Ramona Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Awards Gala and Installation Dinner. This is an evening where the chamber swears in their board of directors and recognizes peoples accomplishments in the community of Ramona, Ca.
A few months before the awards gala, community members are encouraged to nominate people in the community for Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year; and Non-Profit of the Year. In the running this year was…
Business of the Year: Ramona Town Radio | One Stop Equipment Rental | Kamps Propane
Citizen of the Year: Kathleen Cole | Elaine Littleton | Paul Zawilenski
Non-Profit of the Year: Mountain View Community Church | Here With Hope Foundation | TheraPony
This years winners went to:
Business of the Year: Ramona Town Radio
Citizen of the Year: Kathleen Cole
Non-Profit of the Year: Mountain View Community Church
Ramona Town Radio wishes to send a great BIG THANK YOU to our community and to Ramona Chamber of Commerce for this award. It is truly an honor to be nominated for Business of the Year; and to win is tremendous.
Simply being nominated for business of the year is wonderful. To be put in a category with One Stop Equipment Rental and Kamps Propane is a true honor. It is very humbling to actually be awarded Business of the Year from Ramona Chamber and our community. We appreciate it more than anybody will know. Our employees and Dj’s come into work all the time to entertain our listeners and have a great time on air and at events in the community. It is because of the great people we have with us, that we are who we are. They deserve the recognition more than anything.
-Eric Vellone – President of Ramona Town Radio
